That selfless act does wonders to promote the sport and was a big help to me personally. As I had said before, I did not finish writing my comments. So here is more for you. I think that Identifying the things you did well is just as important as the ideas for things to add or change. - You did a great job organizing and leading the class. No small feat for such a large class. - You made the students feel welcome and did a great job of giving lots of positive encouragement. - You worked especially well with the most novice players who can easily get discouraged and quit after seeing what club-level play is compared to home level. - The homework to find facts about the sport were really good. That is an important, but often overlooked part of sports training. - The homework for bouncing the ball against the wall was a great challenge. The first few times I tried I thought I would never master it. But I did and it seems to have made a big difference. I still practice it. You should have everyone do that for homework every week. - The many awards at the end of the class was a good, unexpected final touch of encouragement. - I liked the impromptu tournament. After doing it I would liked to have done that more! Also, thanks for the extra time you spent practicing with me after the last class. I learned much in the 45 minutes spent practicing with you. Let me know how I can help with your ongoing class too. Cheers, -David
