Site Hardscape

Scope:

1.	Provide all labor, hand tools, equipment (including safety equipment), supervision, supplies, and other incidentals necessary to install the site hardscape work and perform all such work in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents that make up the contract documents. The intent of this scope is to complete site improvements and not limited to the following:
a.	Sidewalks, walkways, curbs, retaining walls, planters, patio slabs, and steps
b.	Preparation, placement, and finishing concrete flatwork
c.	Stripping on paved areas as specified
d.	Paving bricks, stepping stones, decorative stone
e.	Limerock, gravel, and soil cement subbase
f.	Fine grade, compaction, and fill under paved areas
g.	Layout
h.	Establishing grades
i.	Expansion joints
j.	Removal of all excess concrete resulting from the placement
k.	Installation of sidewalks to proper elevations to match required final grades, especially in swales, to allow the proper flow of water off sidewalks
l.	Placement and finish of all concrete sidewalks according to the drawings and specifications
2.	Formwork to include the following:
a.	Forms needed to perform work
b.	Tractor work needed to install forms
c.	Stripping and removal of all forms within 48 hours after each placement

Optional Scope Items:

3.	Turn all transit mix delivery tickets in daily to the project superintendent.
4.	Do not add more than 1 gallon of water for each cubic yard of concrete. 

Exclusions:

1.	Materials paid for by others
2.	Concrete structural or flatwork in building
3.	Railroad ties
