Finishes-Paint Scope: 1. Provide all labor, material, hand tools, equipment (including safety equipment), supervision, supplies, and other incidentals necessary to install the painting work and perform all such work in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents that make up the contract documents but not limited to the following: a. Prime, paint, seal, and stain finished surfaces according to the finish schedule b. Finish all exposed drywall, concrete masonry units, concrete, and materials including all walls, ceilings, and miscellaneous surfaces for a complete job 2. Apply all materials according to the specifications, procedures, and practices prescribed by the manufacturers. 3. Seal the edges of all wood doors in accordance with the door manufacturer's specifications. 4. Caulk all cracks and exposed seams in painted wood trim. 5. Caulk as required around all windows and door joints to maintain a sealed surface. 6. Touch up all work as needed. 7. Remove and clean all over spray, drops, runs, and spillage from hardware, glass, cabinets, doors, and nonpainted surfaces. 8. Check all wood doors during final touchup to assure none were cut after the doors were painted. 9. Do not cover up inferior or defective work. 10. Clean up all materials resulting from the work and remove from the site. Optional Scope Items: 11. Replace all doors, hardware, mirrors, and accessories that were removed to accomplish the work. 12. Make a color board and receive written approval from builder before starting work. Exclusions: None
