Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning Scope: 1. Provide all labor, material, hand tools, equipment (including safety equipment), supervision, supplies, and other incidentals necessary to install the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) work and perform all such work in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents that make up the contract documents. The intent is to provide and install a complete heating and air conditioning system including but not limited to the provision and installation of the following: a. Mechanical equipment, ductwork, hangers, sleeve frames, flashing, supports, insulation, and roof curbs b. Control systems, control wiring, thermostats, and all incidentals for a complete job c. Condensation drain piping and traps d. Low-voltage wiring needed to operate the system e. Gas venting, vent pipe, caps, transitions for heating system, and gas hot water tank f. Pressure testing of gas lines 2. Coordinate the location and installation of ducts, freon, and condensation lines with other trades to insure a free and unencumbered area for the runs. 3. Coordinate with the drywall trade contractor to insure that all return air plenums are properly and completely sealed and free of air loss. 4. Start up, test, and balance the entire system. 5. Clean up all materials resulting from the work and remove from the site. 6. Install specified range and cooktop exhaust and bath venting. Optional Scope Items: 7. Install required housekeeping equipment pads for mechanical equipment. 8. Cut, core, and patch as required for this work. Exclusions: 1. Mechanical equipment pads 2. High-voltage wiring
