Fire Protection Scope: 1. Provide all labor, material, hand tools, equipment (including safety equipment), supervision, supplies, and other incidentals necessary to install the fire protection work and perform all such work in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents that make up the contract documents. The intent is to provide and install a complete fire sprinkler system and includes but is not limited to the complete installation of the following: a. Sprinkler piping (main and laterals), disconnects, hookups, headers, drops, heads, valves, valve pits, hydrants, stand pipe, automatic sprinklers, and related special fixtures necessary to complete the installation in the areas required by codes b. Flushing, purging, testing, and adjusting as required to place the system into final service 2. Coordinate the installation of this work with interfacing trades. 3. Coordinate with the local fire inspector any particular sequence or requirements in the installation of the work. 4. Provide all required governmental approvals. 5. Pressure test prior to the work being covered up by other trades. Optional Scope Items: 6. Cut, drill, core, and patch as required for the installation of this work. Exclusions: None
