Electrical Scope: 1. Provide all labor, material, hand tools, equipment (including safety equipment), supervision, supplies, and other incidentals necessary to install the electrical work and perform all such work in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents that make up the contract documents. (If the drawings are not complete, consider including a phrase to comply with codes instead of a reference to the drawings.) The intent is to provide and install a complete electrical system and includes but is not limited to the complete provision and installation of the following: a. Individual panels, subpanels, breakers, switches, conductors, and conduit for each metered system including circuits for heating, air conditioning, appliances, water heater, lighting, GFIC, receptacles, switches, and accessories b. Primary and secondary conductors, conduits, and grounding c. Light fixtures, fans, range hoods, smoke detectors, bulbs, and lamps (If fixtures are not selected, include an allowance amount.) d. Motor power wiring between the energy source and the motor e. Emergency systems, security systems, communications systems, fire alarm systems, and detection systems f. Temporary power poles, installed in such a manner that trades will not have to pull more than 150 feet of extension lines to perform their work g. Television and telephone systems necessary to have working television and telephone outlets 2. Color code and mark as required. 3. Install all hard-wired appliances including cooktop, microwave oven, built-in oven, and range hood. 4. Coordinate with the power company and other trades to interface work. 5. Coordinate with applicable cable and telephone utility companies. 6. Test and hot check entire system. 7. Clean up all materials resulting from the work and remove from the site. Optional Scope Items: 8. Provide and install building panels, subpanels, breakers, switches, conductors, and conduit. 9. Provide and install exit and emergency lights. 10. Provide and install temporary wiring for the project superintendent's office and building. 11. Provide and install plywood backboards for a temporary telephone. 12. Provide and install cable tray and bus duct systems shown on drawings. 13. Provide and install uninterrupted power supply, switchgear, and switch equipment. 14. Provide and install all control wiring required for automatic starting and stopping of motors specifically shown on the electrical drawings. 15. Cut, core, and patch as required. 16.
