Carpentry-Siding

Scope:

1.	Provide all labor, hand tools, equipment (including safety equipment), supervision, supplies, and other incidentals necessary to install the wood, vinyl, and metal siding work and perform all such work in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents that make up the contract documents but not limited to the following:
a.	Exterior siding
b.	Exterior trim for cornice, fascia, soffits, railings, windows, and doors
c.	Exterior doors, thresholds, sliding glass doors, windows, and screens
d.	Flashing including window, door, and wall openings
e.	Building wrap
f.	Wall felt
2.	Caulk all joints and nail holes.
3.	Do not cover up inferior or defective work.
4.	Comply with the manufacturers' recommended installation procedures.
5.	Use coated or nonferrous nails, screws, and other fasteners that are exposed to weather or touch cedar or redwood in accordance with the American Plywood Association or the Western Cedar Association.
6.	Clean up all materials resulting from the work and remove from the site.

Optional Scope Items:

7.	Install all rigid board and insulation sheathing
8.	Install exterior sheathing. 

Exclusions:

1.	Materials provided by others
2.	Roof flashing
3.	Masonry flashing
